Kani’s Isshin Ryu proudly welcomes Master Karl Kazuo Hovey to the Lehigh Valley. Master Hovey began studying Okinawan Karate, including Isshin Ryu, almost fifty years ago. He is well known as a fierce competitor and Master instructor in most States of the Union, Okinawa, Japan and many other countries including Australia, Puerto Rico, Denmark, Romania and more … Complete bio
We are also proud to welcome our guest Master Instructors, Master Rod Crimmons, from Dillsburg, Pennsylvania, and Master H.P. Henry, from the Winston-Salem area, NC.
Master Crimmons began his karate journey in 1969. He has trained with notable karate masters such as Master Angi Uezu and Master Tsuyoshi Uechi. He now trains under Master Karl Hovey.
Master Henry started training in 1978. He has trained in Karate, Ju-Jitsu, Tae Kwon Do, Okinawan Kobudo and Marine Corps Martial Arts (MCMAP). Sensei Henry’s instructors include: Master's George Trimm, Don Bohan, Sherman Harrill and Chester Holubecki.
